Art

While Eve doesn't often have the opportunity to use their art skills for game projects, the skills have been honed for over a decade, and they take any opportuniy to utilise their creativity as often as possible.Recently, Eve used their skills to create marketing material for Heartfall - A Tale in Three Lives, which gave them the professional experience of working within a specific brief and collaborating with multiple people on designs and artistic choices.In the past for a student game concept, Eve created an animatic tutorial video with a 3 day time limit for a complex political-based boardgame, which can be found here.

More work can be found on their artstation linked here.

Audio/Music

^{One of the primary roles Eve held when producing a game as part of a student team was audio designer. Here are some SFX examples.As both a hobby and as part of their degree, Eve composes music. They have been doing so since 2023, and some pieces are simpler than others due to audio/design briefs. All current public pieces are designed as game soundtracks. Here are some examples.}

Level and Narrative Flows

Initally, throughout their time at Abertay, Eve would use Twine to create interactable level and narrative flows for games they worked on. However, they changed to using Merit Modeler for level flows after graduation due to Twine's limitations for larger scale projects, particularly involving multiple people.

During the development of Heartfall - A Tale in Three Lives, Eve assisted in writing large parts of the dialogue, primarily planning out story beats in relation to the level design, and helping to keep things within the provided scope. In particular, most of the idle dialogues in their route were written by them, as well as one of the endings and most of the first session.

All Heartfall - A Tale in Three Lives level flows can be found on their project Drive here.
